We didn’t set out to change the game of golf, just the golf experience. When inspiration, ingenuity and craftsmanship birthed the first E-Z-GO golf car in 1954, we succeeded. Drawing from the state-of-the-art technology used to power wind flaps on the United States Army’s B-17 aircraft, we engineered a reliable machine that would deliver a superior driving experience. But our vision didn’t end behind the wheel. We took our experience on the road, delivering face-to-face customer service to E-Z-GO partners across the country.

Over time, the evolution of the E-Z-GO experience progressed, making it easy for golfers, dealers and golf courses alike with such innovations as our cutting-edge Precision Drive System™, customized vehicles and a network of customer support that spans the globe.

Today, nearly six decades since that first car rolled out of a one-room machine shop in Grovetown, Ga., the E-Z-GO experience is as seamless as it is cultivated. To know E-Z-GO is to know a durable, high-performance vehicle backed by the resources of Textron, Inc., one of the world’s most renowned manufacturers of transportation vehicles. Through sharing of knowledge, technology and resources among the Textron family of companies—including Cessna Aircraft Co., Bell Helicopter and Textron Financial Corp.—E-Z-GO has developed and refined lean manufacturing processes that deliver reliable vehicles and guarantee value.

Our commitment to the golf experience has earned us a reputation in the industry, leading to partnerships with seven of the top ten golf courses in the world and many organizations dedicated to growing the game. So while we didn’t set out to change the game of golf, during the course of enriching the golf experience, it seems we inadvertently did. Change the game, that is.
