E-Z-GO Introduces Versatile New ST Express Vehicle

Gas and Electric Models Combine Power, Payload of Multi-Passenger and Trail Utility Vehicles

(AUGUSTA, GA)— E-Z-GO, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company and the world’s leading manufacturer of golf cars and utility vehicles, today introduced its new ST Express vehicle, combining shuttle-like seating capacity with UTV power and performance.

E-Z-GO developed the ST Express to provide consumers with a durable vehicle capable of transporting four passengers on road or off. Available in both gas and electric models, the ST Express also features numerous options to suit the owner’s specific design and function needs.

“We’re excited about adding the ST Express to our lineup and believe consumers will find it a convenient, practical and very enjoyable vehicle,” says Kevin Holleran, president of E-Z-GO. “The ST Express is a unique hybrid of our multi-passenger and trail utility vehicles, giving customers the best of both worlds. ST Express owners will appreciate its versatility – it is equally at home patrolling the backwoods, roaming the farm or cruising around the neighborhood.”

The ST Express joins E-Z-GO’s range of specialty vehicles that includes the Shuttle (with seating for up to six passengers) and ST trail utility lines as well as the Freedom personal golf car. In November, E-Z-GO introduced its much-anticipated RXV fleet golf car delivering unprecedented power, control, comfort, safety and cost savings.

The ST Express features and benefits include:

o Room for four: Forward-facing, four-passenger seating on the ST Express provides plenty of space for everyone. Transporting family and friends is convenient and easy.

o Smooth ride: The ST Express features 23-inch Terra Trac tires for a comfortable ride over any terrain. Attractive diamond-wheel rims add an element of style.

o Best-in-class hauling capability: With an 800-pound payload and the option of a stake-side bed, roto-molded bed or a versatile flip-flop seat that folds down to increase storage space, the ST Express offers unparalleled hauling capability. From groceries to gardening tools, the Express can carry the load.

o Versatility: Powerful gas or 48-volt electric engines, three-bar steel brush guard and custom two-tone seats in black/red or white/viper blue are among the options that give the ST Express unrivaled versatility.

o Lower operating costs: The ST Express electric comes standard with E-Z-GO’s patented Precision Drive System and PowerWise QE Charger, which charges 15 percent faster and delivers energy savings of up to 30 percent. The gas model is powered by a fuel-efficient 11-HP Subaru engine.
