E-Z-GO Renews Partnership with National Sporting Clays Association

Company’s Trail & Utility Vehicles, Including Clays Car, Designated “Official Product” Through Three-Year Commitment

(AUGUSTA, GA) — E-Z-GO, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company and the world’s leading manufacturer of golf cars and utility vehicles, today announces it has renewed its partnership with the National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA), designating E-Z-GO trail and utility vehicles an “Official Product” as part of a three-year commitment.

Through the partnership – which began in 2001 -- E-Z-GO will receive “Official Product” signage at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas, advertising in Skeet Shooting Review, recognition in Sporting Clays Magazine, and assistance from the NSCA in developing and promoting the sale or lease of E-Z-GO equipment to gun clubs. With 21,000 members, the NSCA is the world’s largest sporting clays association.

E-Z-GO’s line of trail and utility vehicles includes the Clays Car, introduced in 2002 and the first vehicle designed specifically to meet the needs of the sporting clays shooter. The Clays Car features seating for four plus floor-mounted gun racks, rear-side and front-mount baskets, and locking glove box. It is available in 36-volt electric and 11-horsepower gas models, with options including an ice chest and sun canopy.

“The NSCA is pleased to continue our relationship with E-Z-GO, which has proved an extremely valuable partner the past six years,” said Michael Hampton Jr., Director of the National Sporting Clays Association. “E-Z-GO has been instrumental in spurring the biggest recent change in our sport, and that’s the proliferation of golf cars and utility vehicles. These vehicles have become a vital piece of equipment, right behind guns and ammo, as shooters recognize the great convenience and safety enhancements they provide.”

Added John L. Garrison, President of E-Z-GO: “We greatly value our partnership with the NSCA, the premier organization of its kind and a great resource for its membership. Input from the NSCA has been key in developing E-Z-GO trail utility vehicles such as the Clays Car to meet the unique needs of recreational shooters and sportsmen. Many of our vehicles’ features and functions have resulted directly from the feedback of the NSCA and its members, and we look forward to continuing this important relationship for years to come.”

In addition to the Clays Car, E-Z-GO also manufactures the ST line of trail utility vehicles. The ST 4x4, Sport, Sport II, 350, 480, 2+2 and Custom deliver dependability and comfort, with the power and payload consumers demand from a great UTV. With seating for two and four passengers, engines ranging from 11- to 18-horsepower, payload capacities up to 1,500 pounds, and such features as “on-the-fly” four-wheel drive, the ST lineup can handle virtually any task or terrain.
